In depth
The Atomic Bent 100 is a freeride ski built for skiers who want one pair capable of handling everything from packed groomers to fresh powder stashes without hesitation. With a 100mm waist width, it sits comfortably in the all-mountain-to-powder category, wide enough to float through soft snow yet manageable enough to lay down clean turns on firmer surfaces. Atomic designed this ski with a directional shape and a rockered tip paired with a more traditional tail, giving skiers the confidence to charge through variable conditions while still maintaining control and precision when the terrain firms up. Construction-wise, the Bent 100 relies on Atomic's HRZN Tech technology, which rounds off the edges near the tip and tail to reduce catching and hooking in soft or choppy snow. This makes the ski feel more playful and forgiving, especially when navigating crud, cut-up powder, or inconsistent snowpack later in the day. A wood core provides a natural, lively flex pattern, while the sidewall construction adds torsional stiffness for stability at speed and better edge hold when carving on hardpack. The result is a ski that feels stable underfoot but never sluggish, striking a balance between playfulness and performance that appeals to intermediate and advanced skiers alike. On snow, the Bent 100 shines as a versatile daily driver for skiers who spend most of their time exploring off-piste terrain, tree runs, and mixed conditions rather than sticking strictly to groomed runs. Its moderate width and directional design make it approachable for those transitioning from all-mountain skis into more freeride-oriented setups, without feeling overwhelming or overly demanding. Whether it's a bluebird powder day or a slushy spring afternoon, the Atomic Bent 100 delivers a smooth, adaptable ride that encourages skiers to explore more of the mountain with confidence, making it a reliable choice for anyone looking to build a quiver-of-one ski for varied winter conditions.
Customer reviews
I've taken these out on three big powder days this season and they float beautifully. Light enough to skin with but stable enough for resort laps too.
Love how playful these are in soft snow and moguls. They're a bit less confidence-inspiring on icy mornings, but once the sun softens things up they're a blast.
These have become my go-to ski for basically everything except deep ice days. The rocker profile makes them so easy to pivot and slash.
Noticeably lighter than my old freeride skis. Great for longer touring days, though I do notice some chatter at high speeds on hardpack.
